AESTHETIC DENTISTRY

A beautiful smile is one of the most important components of facial aesthetics. Having a beautiful smile is possible when various factors, such as the color, shape, and health of the teeth, and the shape of the gums, come together.

Porcelain (veneer) Laminates

Porcelain laminates, which are one of the most commonly used methods in aesthetic dentistry, are applied to individuals who are not satisfied with the shape and color of their teeth, have chipped, worn, or crooked teeth, or have gaps between their teeth, which is called diastema. Porcelain laminates, which can be applied without any abrasion or with minimal abrasion to the teeth, are 0.3-0.7 mm thin. The production process takes approximately 7-10 days.

Composite Laminates (Bonding)

Composite laminates, which are another frequently used treatment in aesthetic dentistry, are applied to individuals who have broken teeth, to fill gaps between the teeth, or to elongate the teeth. Its biggest advantage is that it can usually be completed in a single session.

All-Ceramic Porcelain

In modern dentistry, the use of metal-supported ceramic restorations has gradually decreased due to aesthetic concerns and has been replaced by all-ceramic restorations. Metal-supported porcelain restorations cannot provide a sufficient aesthetic appearance because they are not translucent.

All-ceramic porcelain can be applied to teeth with excessive tissue loss where porcelain laminates cannot be applied, or to patients with old metal-supported porcelain crowns in order to provide a better aesthetic appearance. The production process takes approximately 7-10 days.

Porcelain Fillings (inlay-only)

They are fillings that are prepared in a laboratory environment by taking measurements and showing high compatibility with the applied tooth and neighboring teeth. The production process takes approximately 1 week. It is a filling method that is generally applied to teeth with large cavities and especially to teeth that have undergone canal treatment. It is also quite satisfying aesthetically.

Bleaching

The products used in tooth whitening must be reliable. Therefore, tooth whitening is an application that must be done under the control of your dentist. Tooth whitening can be applied to all teeth, as well as to teeth that have undergone canal treatment and have darkened over time.

Tooth whitening can be applied in two ways, home whitening, and office whitening. We achieve the best results in the combined applications of these two methods.

Gingival Aesthetics (pink aesthetics)

For a beautiful smile, gum health and gum position are also very important. Sometimes, simply aligning the gum contours with small surgical procedures can be enough for a natural and aesthetic smile. In cases of larger gum problems, lip repositioning or some periodontal treatments can also be applied.
